Carrie Pawpins, Pet Nanny Service Contract Agreement

Terms of Care
1. Client authorizes Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC to perform pet care as outlined in the "My Info" and "Pets" tabs in Time to Pet which shall become a part of this contract.
2. Client assumes responsibility for ascertaining the data on the "My Info" and "Pets" tabs are correct.
3. In the event of inclement weather or natural disaster, Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC is entrusted to use their best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home.  Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC will be held harmless for consequences related to such decisions.
4. In the event of personal injury or illness of a Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC representative, Client authorizes Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC to arrange for another qualified person to fulfill responsibilities set forth in this contract.
5. Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC is authorized by the signature below or by accepting these terms and conditions in the clients Time to Pet portal to seek emergency veterinary care with release from all liabilities related to transportation, treatment, and expenses. Should specified veterinarian be unavailable, Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC is authorized to approve medical care and/or emergency treatment as needed or any expense incurred for home/pet food/supplies needed.
6. If pet has a history of biting, Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC reserves the right to refuse service.
7. Carrie Pawpins, Pet Nanny reserves the right to refuse services and a scheduled meet and greet is not a guarantee of future services.
8. Carrie Pawpins, Pet Nanny will not provide pet care services in situations where Client has hired multiple caregivers for the pet(s).

Liability
1. Should a Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC representative be bitten or otherwise injured by Client’s animal, it will be the Client’s responsibility to pay all costs and damages incurred by the victim.
2. In the event that Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC is required to employ a licensed locksmith to gain entry into the Client’s premise due to a malfunction of the lock, garage door, or other entry point or failure of the Client to leave a key, it shall be the responsibility of the Client to reimburse Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC for all costs incurred.  The Client expressly gives Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC the authority to employ a licensed locksmith on Client’s behalf in the event of the aforementioned occurrence. In the event of an unintentional lockout of Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC representative, Client expressively gives Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC the authority to employ a licensed locksmith to regain entry to the Client’s premise. Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC will assume responsibility for the costs of such an unintentional occurrence.
3. Client expressly releases Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC from liability due to: a) damage by the pet(s); b) injury, disappearance, death or fines due to the pet’s access to the outdoors; c) any complication in administering medication to the pet; d) the actions (or inactions) of other persons having access to the Client’s premise.

Terms of Payment
1. Pet care, training, and behavior services will be provided at rates listed on the Rates and Services page on our website. Rates are subject to change at anytime without notice.
2. Payment, by cash, check, credit card, or Venmo, is due upon booking for new clients in order to hold the reservation. If additional fees occur, including but not limited to, emergency or veterinary care, unexpected home expenses, pet food, or other special needs Client agrees to pay these additional fees within 24 hours of completion of service.
3. Payment, by cash, check, credit card, or Venmo, is due upon completion of pet care services for existing clients. If additional fees occur, including but not limited to, emergency or veterinary care, unexpected home expenses, pet food, or other special needs Client agrees to pay these additional fees within 24 hours of completion of service.
4. For all Holiday visits a nonrefundable 50% deposit is required upon booking to hold the reservation.  We have 9 days we consider a “Holiday” – New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
5. Payment, by cash, check, credit card, or Venmo, is due during the first session or consultation for training and behavior services. If payment is not made during the first session then Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC reserves the right to reschedule services until payment is made.
6. An unpaid balance beyond 30 days will have a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually) added to the unpaid balance. In the event it is necessary to initiate collection proceedings on the account, Client will be responsible for all attorney’s fees and/or costs of collections. Client understands that Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC reserves the right to report any unpaid balances to the appropriate credit bureaus.
7. Client understands that there will be a $20.00 handling charge for checks returned for any reason.
Cancellation policy

1. Overnights and visits are subject to a 7 day cancellation period. If any service is cancelled without at least 7 days’ notice then a fee of 25% of total services will be applied. No other services will be booked until the fee is collected for the cancelled services.
2. Cancellation or rescheduling of training and behavior services must be requested 48 hours prior to scheduled services.  If a training or behavior service is cancelled without at least 48 hour notice the fee for that service will not be refunded to the Client.

Future Services

1. Client authorizes this contract to be valid approval for future services permitting Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC to accept client’s telephone reservations, email reservations, or service reservations via Time to Pet for service and enter client’s premises without additional signed contracts or written authorization.
2. Client agrees to provide Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC with 2 (two) sets of keys to the Client's home.  One copy to be kept at the Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC home office and one copy to be kept in a lock box with the Client's preferred sitter.  If the Client does not wish to provide 2 sets of keys then they will be subject to a $10 key pick up and drop off fee for each event where the sitter must drive to the Client's home or meet with the client to obtain keys. The Client may alternatively provide door, gate, or garage codes instead of keys for the sitter to gain access to the home. See above for liability in the event that key alternates malfunction or fail.
3. Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC reserves the right to terminate this agreement and/or any service at any time if Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC determines that Client’s pet(s) or home poses a danger to the health or safety of Carrie Pawpins Pet Nanny, LLC representatives.

By signing or by accepting these terms and conditions in the clients Time to Pet portal the Client agrees to the terms in this contract, and hereby certifies that the "My Info" and "Pets" tabs are correct to the best of the Client’s knowledge.
